Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

This policy explains how Kensington Host ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit kensingtonhost.co.uk or make a booking. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Kensington Host operates a short-stay rental apartment in West Kensington, London W14. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@kensingtonhost.co.uk.

What data we collect

How and why we use it

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us operate, under appropriate safeguards: Lodgify (booking management), Stripe (payments), and our website host Hostinger. We do not sell your data. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU; where they do, appropriate transfer safeguards apply.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and tax requirements (generally up to 6 years for financial records), then delete or anonymise it. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@kensingtonhost.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the booking widget and, with your consent, analytics cookies. See our Cookie Notice for details and how to manage them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.

This policy is provided as a general template tailored to a UK short-stay rental and should be reviewed for your specific circumstances. It is not legal advice.
